🍂🌊 OCTOBER IS HERE, SEA DRAGONS—LET’S MAKE WAVES THIS FALL! 🐉⚓

SCELA Sea Dragon Families and Scholars,

Our October 2026 School Event Calendar is here! This month is filled with opportunities to celebrate, connect, learn, and demonstrate our Sea Dragon spirit as we continue Charting the C.O.U.R.S.E. to Unlimited Possibilities! 🧭

Along with our C.O.U.R.S.E. Challenge Days, Sea Dragon Reads Day, Spirit Day, Team Day, Shout-Out Day, Creative Day, Pride Day, and fun national observances, October features two exciting opportunities for our Sea Dragon community:

🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️ Monday, October 19 | Fall Field Day | 8:30 AM–12:00 PM
Get ready to move, compete, have fun, and show your Sea Dragon Spirit!

📚🎃 Thursday, October 29 | SCELA BOO-K MASH Family Event | 4:00–6:00 PM
Join us for an evening of books, costumes, community partners, family fun, and BOO-K MASH excitement!

Families, please also note our important SCCPSS dates: October 7 marks the end of the First Nine-Week Period; October 8–12 includes student holidays/Fall Break; October 13 begins the Second Nine-Week Period; and October 16 is First Quarter Report Card Day.

📌 Save the calendar, plan ahead, and join us throughout October! Whether we're learning virtually or gathering together for special events, there is always an opportunity to stay connected and show what it means to be a Sea Dragon.

Every Sea Dragon. Every Day.
